He urged the Iraqi Government to “take a principled position against this flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region” and called on the international community not to remain “silent in the face of repeated attacks” against the region. .

And he noted that “in the coming days” they will work with their allies in the international community to “stop these brutal attacks against our innocent people,” without giving further details.
