The second part of the most anticipated film since the late 80s is already in production and thanks to this we have the first reports of who will be the protagonists of Beetlejuice 2.
It had previously been confirmed that Michael Keaton would return to play Beetlejuice along with the long-awaited return of Winona Ryder and the unexpected surprise of Jenna Ortega’s participation in the Tim Burton film.
These characters will be part of the world of the living, but this time we will have a new look at the world of the dead as Willem Dafoe and Monica Bellucci will be spooky ghosts for the second installment.
Let’s remember that at the end of the first film, Beetlejuice is exiled to the underworld to wait his turn to be free, this film will take up the events from the epic ending, to show us what will be the revenge of the ghost that wanted to recover the house of the deetz.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Willem Dafoe will be giving life to an officer from the afterlife, forming part of the characters of the supernatural dimension, it is not yet known if he will be an ally or will be the officer who persecutes him for escaping his sentence.
On the other hand Monica Bellucci will play the wife of Beetlejuice, this being an important watershed for the story and a new approach to the main ghost.
